Reporting copyright infringement
Write to support@fansshow.in (subject line "Copyright notice") or to the postal address above, with:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person authorised to act
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed (a title, a link, a registration number)
- The material on Fans Show that infringes it - the exact URL(s)
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them
A complete notice is acknowledged within 24 hours. We remove or disable the material promptly - normally within 36 hours of a valid notice - and tell the person who posted it.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to support@fansshow.in with your signature, the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, your name, address and phone, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, outside the US, of the courts of Hyderabad, India). We forward it to the complainant; unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed for a court order, the material may be restored 10-14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.
Other unlawful or harmful content
Anything else - a post, a review, a listing, a message - that you believe is unlawful, defamatory, impersonates someone, or breaks our Terms: write to the grievance officer above with the URL and why. Notices are acknowledged within 24 hours and decided within 15 days; you are told the outcome and the reason, and you may ask for it to be reviewed by a person.
Posters, trailers and film content
Posters and trailers shown for a screening are the property of their studios and distributors and are shown for the purpose of identifying the film. Every image credits its source. A screening hosted on Fans Show must hold the exhibition licence for the film; the host confirms this before the show is published.
Repeat infringers
An account that infringes copyright repeatedly is suspended, and then closed. Sellers and hosts lose their listings and shows with it.
Misrepresentation
A knowingly false notice or counter-notice makes you liable for the damages it causes, including costs and attorneys' fees (17 U.S.C. §512(f)).
